School facilities
We are very fortunate to be situated in the beautiful Adelaide Hills amongst the pines, gums and apple orchards. Our grounds is expansive and encompasses a pine forest for cubby building, several playground areas including a popular mud kitchen and a productive vegetable garden. We also have access to the Basket Range oval and tennis courts and the memorial hall.
Our learning areas are designed for purpose. The foundational learning area comprises an explicit teaching and learning space as well as an open area for exploration, hands on learning and to foster creativity. Our inquiry space features a well-resourced classroom as well as a wet area to ensure students are supported to investigate ideas and explore their thinking. Students enjoy using the kid’s kitchen to cook each week, sharing their favourite recipes and eating their creations.
Our music room is well equipped with a diverse range of musical instruments which supports students to experiment with sound and rhythm. You will also find musical instruments in our classrooms as we integrate music into both literacy and numeracy.
