About our school
Basket Range Primary School is a local government school that offers a unique model of education. Located thirty minutes from Adelaide, the school is nestled in Peramangk Country in the beautiful foothills of the Adelaide hills, amongst the lush eucalypt forests, apple orchards, castle views and fertile soils.
Basket Range Primary School was established in 1885 and has a wealth of history and community engagement behind it.
We are a Department for Education school that offers children from Reception to Year 6 a rich range of learning experiences including gardening, music, language, outdoor education and cooking.
